I am currently running OpenSUSE 12.3 GNOME 3.6.2 and I have tried several different methods for clearing the ALT+F2 “Please Enter a Command” prompt. I do not know where to go or what to do to clear this history. I have even tried using BleachBit to clear the run history. It really irritates me that the prompt does not have a clear function, such as the gnome-terminal’s history -c command.
Thanks,
Darren

Use dconf-editor and browse to org.gnome.shell and empty the “command-
history” value.
