Before installation of alsa-driver-kmp-*, the setup process requested the permission to:
- downgrade the kernel
uninstall the driver module for nvidia card
I can deal with kernel downgrading, but deciding whether to uninstall the video driver or not was rather confusing.
Two questions: why the video driver must be uninstalled and will I be able to reinstall the later after ALSA’s OK?
If it were me, and I had a nominal openSUSE kernel installed, and I obtained those warnings, I would stop and not proceed.
