All my Windows controls have disappeared

Helllp,
The tops of all my windows have disappeared!e.g. the blue part with max min and shut controls I run the Gnome desktop

Yes I have compiz fusion installed

Hi Thejaswi,
I have removed compiz and all its dependants and hey presto the problem is solved, plus my machine is running much faster!

When I had a similar problem some years ago, I was able to solve it by using SaX2 but that was before Compiz.

Dumb question but what is SaX2? I keep getting references back to yast on wikipedia
