Aliases are not updated when creating a list in mailman

Using mailman 2.1.35 in Opensuse Leap 15.4.
Old lists work, but when I create a new list it does not work, it seems to be there, but a mail to the list is rejected as “User unknown in local recipient table”.
I have seen that in /var/lib/mailman/data/aliases there are only the old aliases for the old lists.
If I run

#/usr/lib/mailman/bin/genaliases

I get

To finish creating your mailing list, you must edit your /etc/aliases (or equivalent) file by adding the following lines, and possibly running the `newaliases' program:

and a list of all the aliases,

but as in /var/lib/mailman/data/aliases it says

# This file is generated by Mailman, and is kept in sync with the
# binary hash file aliases.db. YOU SHOULD NOT MANUALLY EDIT THIS FILE
# unless you know what you're doing, and can keep the two files properly
# in sync. If you screw it up, you're on your own.

# The ultimate loop stopper address
mailman-loop: /var/lib/mailman/data/owner-bounces.mbox

I think it should be a way to generate the aliases automatically… but I can’t find it.
