Album Art Cover Downloader

Hi. I’m trying get the Album Art Cover Downloader working under openSUSE 11.0. I’ve got all the dependencies mentioned on their homepage installed, but when I go to run it from the console, I get:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/local/bin/albumart-qt", line 49, in <module>
    import version
ImportError: No module named version

I’m probably missing some Python dependency, but not being a Python programmer, I don’t know how to interpret this error. Can someone help? For what it’s worth, I’m using Album Art v1.6.6 from tarball. I tried installing the older version from the Build Service, but that was missing dependencies, too.

Can’t say… but I’ll add there I do use the cover
downloader in Amarok… and it works well. There’s
a cover copy plugin as well to ensure it places a
copy into the album directory with the rips… in
case you transfer to a media device that can use
a cover as just a file instead of having to embed
it into each ripped song as a tag.

Yes, I’ve used the Amarok Cover Manager, but it doesn’t help when I access my collection from outside of Amarok. I’ll take a look at the CopyCover script, though.
