AIGLX don't working in openSUSE 11? (nvidia)

hello,
I installed latest nvidia drivers available to date. According to AIGLX - openSUSE the drivers should automatically enable AIGLX in my system, but I am not sure about that…

also not sure if it was necessary, but I ran:

nvidia-xconfig --composite

so my /etc/X11/xorg.conf now looks like:

after restart I ran :

grep -i AIGLX /var/log/Xorg.0.log

but it don’t find anything related to AIGLX.

Does that mean AIGLX is not running on my desktop?

thanks

Does compiz work? If it does, AIGLX works. Also note, that multiscreening with Xinerama doesn’t work with AIGLX, at least last time I checked, :stuck_out_tongue: . I have NVIDIA and I do not have any problems.

From your current xorg.conf, it looks like you’re using Nvidia’s implementation of AIGLX, which is enabled by default. I don’t think this appears in the logs. But just try out compiz and see how that goes. If it works, you have either AIGLX or Nvidia’s implementation working.
