Hi there,
I try installing Leap 16.0 from USB stick on top of existing ext4/LUKS partitions from L 15.6.
After configuring stuff in Agama an starting installation, it hangs now saying “Installing ImageMagick… 1/2453”.
In tty0 doing ps aux|grep rpm I can see, rpm actually tries to install ImageMagick.
What now, is there a process that needs to be killed?
What log file may give a hint?
Thanks
BTW, has never been so frustrating to upgrade an existing Leap version…
Look at the journal (journalctl -f). This is where Agama logs the most important things.
I would guess that remote repos are not reachable, especially since it seems to hang at the first package to be installed. You could check if you can reach remote Internet addresses at all; you might not even need a shell. Agama runs in a Firefox browser; try to open a new tab and check if you can reach https://download.opensuse.org .
