again bumblebee

Hallo, on 13.2

everything works until the nvidia driver and kernel updates, but now I get the message:
Xlib: extension “GLX” missing on display “:8”
same problem by bumblebee OSS, X11 13.2 and X11 Factory.

as driver I used 337.25-26.1 and it seams to be working:

01:00.0 3D controller [0302]: NVIDIA Corporation GM107M [GeForce GTX 850M] [10de:1391] (rev ff)
Kernel modules: nouveau, nvidia

any idea? Thanks in advance!

Please post the file /var/log/Xorg.8.log.

But most likely the nvidia kernel module cannot be loaded. You probably should reinstall/recompile it.

This only means that the kernel module is available, not that it is working.

And why are you using 337.25 instead of the “official” version in the Bumblebee repo, and from where did you install it?

thanks wolfi,
In this case I will keep with the not updated kernel and with the not updated nvidia driver. I am enough experienced to know about the alternatives options
I am also convinced that the nvidia driver is not really loading!
