After Upgrade to 11.3 b43-driver stops working after some time (wl driver working!)

Hi all,

after upgrading to 11.3 I have problems in using the b43 driver. It just disconnects after some period of time (sometimes sooner, sometimes later) with the following messages:

After restarting wpa_supplicant it reassociates again. It is not possible to reassociate using wpa_cli.

Card is 4311 (now working with wl):

I want to go back to b43-module due to ohci_hcd-module-problem (needed to balcklist this one, so that ssb doesn’t get loaded and load it in the end of the boot-sequence. Not a nice hack).

Any advice appreciated!

Thanks and regards,

I’m using wl too
Only because it performs better for some reason and I just don’t have time to dig in to it

04:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY [14e4:4315] (rev 01)

Kernel driver in use: wl

And wl works really well in every respect.
Sorry I can’t help more

If Larry sees this he may chip in.
