My system was working without problems until new updates on the main repo.15.2 with patched nvidia.com driver. When X started not have status bar and app launch bars black screen background.Any clue? xorg log showing failed to initialise GLX module
I did have similar issues on my desktop and laptop with 15.2 with the regular G05 driver from the repository - both at the same time. There was an Xorg update I think. One machine the froze after login into KDE (plasma) the other showed an empty blank greyish screen with nothing but a cursor. I went to the tty1 and rebooted one or two times. I was tempted to try a rollback to some snapshop but just let it start again and on both boxes X decided to come back without further complaints.
