I am using a ThinkPad T16 Gen 3 with a physical function mic switch on F4. After performing the July 30th update, the mic switch indicator no longer functions as it did which was better.
Before, the indicator applies to the headset microphone where if I mute the mic of my headphones or unmute, the indicator changes. However, this is no longer the case as the indicator only changes if my laptop microphone is muted or unmuted.
How do I fix this?
Having updated to August 6, this problem is still not fixed. Again, this was not an issue before this update. Basically, if I unmute Meteor Lake-P HD Audio Controller Headphones Stereo Microphone, the expected result would be for the mic indicator on my F4 key turn off and turn on if i mute the headphone mic. However, this no longer works and the mic indicator ONLY APPLIES to Meteor Lake-P HD Audio Controller Digital Microphone which is the built-in microphone on the ThinkPad.
