After shutdown and boot, Opensuse 15.5 logs me in automatically even though auto login is not selected in yast

The topic pretty well describes the issue. When I tried logging out before shutdown, the automatic login didn’t happen the very next time I booted. Then, on the following shutdown and boot, it went back to unauthorized auto login.

First, you need to give some information, such as the Desktop you use and the Display Manager.

Desktops:
kde? Gnome? Xfce?

Display Manager, run the following in a terminal, select all the output, including the command.
Use Ctrl-Shft-C to copy it to the clipboard.

su -
update-alternatives --display default-displaymanager

Come back here, click on the </> symbol in the forum editor window, and paste the output in there.

Thanks for responding and giving such clear instructions.

I am using kde.
