After latest update the smb CIFS won't work anymore

Hi all,

I am on Leap 15.4 and did an update of the system. After rebooting Dolphin gives this error:

An error occurred while accessing 'Home', the system responded: This program is not installed setuid root - "user" CIFS mounts not supported.

The folder it is trying to connect to is a folder on my NAS with guest access (no password necessary).
Everything has working fine for months up until after today’s software update.

The fstab entry for this folder is:

//192.168.0.3/Public  /home/simorgh/media/QnapPublic  cifs  guest,uid=1000,iocharset=utf8  0  0

and

ls -ld ~/media/QnapPublic/
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Jan 10 18:32 /home/simorgh/media/QnapPublic/

Did the latest software update change something that I should be aware of?

I did read this thread but didn’t get any wiser.

Thanks in advance for guidance.
