When a desktop goes into idle mode, one needs to enter your password every time that it wakes up.
Is there a way of disabling the need for entering a password?
Should be in Configure Desktop - Display and monitor - Screen locker
Actually:
Configure Desktop → Desktop Effects → Screen Locking (in left column)
then uncheck the box “Lock screen automatically”
Did they change it again LOL
Actually it is in “Configure Desktop”->Desktop Behavior->Screen Locking.
Not recently.
It’s at that place since the very first release of Plasma5.
I meant from KDE3 and 4
Yes, they reshuffled the config modules in Plasma5. It is a major new version, that’s the only opportunity in years to do something like that.
Btw, in KDE3 the screensaver settings were in “Appearance & Themes”…
So they also changed it from KDE3 to KDE4.
