After fixing drive partition numbers, got error

Hi,

After fixing drive partition numbers, I got the following error from cfdisk:

FATAL ERROR: Bad logical partition 6: enlarged logical partitions overlap
Press any key to exit cfdisk

However, I can see all my partitions with fdisk and gparted, I can mount and use all of them.
I used the following guide to fix the drive numbers order:
Reorder partition drive numbers in linux | LinkedBits
Does somebody know whet is cfdisks problem and how can I fix it?

Thank you!

Please post the output of ‘sudo /sbin/fdisk -l’

I don’t see anything wrong with #6.

Well, everything is fine, I can mount and use the partitions, gparted and fdisk does not throw any error?warning messages. Only cfdisk.

Then ignore cfdisk. It must be broken.

hii,

Don’t worry I faced the similar situation, you may be getting this fatal error because of corruption of partition. The error may results in inaccessibly of data stored in the partitions of the system. formatting may resolve the error but it will lead to the loss of data from partitions of the system. Partition recovery software will help to recover data lost from corrupted partitions.

Yeah,if you lost your data on the partition, you can recover data off it with the help of data recovery software.
