After 18.104.22.168 update it now only boots to CLI login. I checked the repository stuff and no extra ones enabled. The 3 smaller updates that happened after the 22.214.171.124. update did nothing to help.
You should still be able to boot the previous kernel. Use the “Advanced” menu selection to choose which kernel to boot.
Thats what I have been doing since the update. I am using the 5.1.1 snapshot. I just wanted to find out if there is a flaw in the 126.96.36.199 update or if something went wrong on my end.
It is probably a graphic driver issue. If you are using nvidia graphics, then I think I have seen others mention it. If it is not nvidia, maybe consider opening a bug report.
Yes I use the NVidia driver and this has caused trouble in the past also. Guess I need to wait for the droiver to be updated.
