:open_mouth: I try to realize a special network configuration with suse linux.

I need to change nic address to link local instead of host global.
:’( Unfortunatelly i cannot do this because the interface startup script? force the policy local table (ID 255) to type host global at
startup, and I cannot change it.

:confused: So how it poosible to set nic address to link local from network configuration?

:rolleyes: Looks like the /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-xxx file SCOPE=‘link’ has no affect for priority table ID 255!
