Additional packages missing

Hi,

I’ve recently installed opensuse 13.2 and I add the additional packages in my Software Repositories on Yast.

One thing I noticed is that there is no new packages for Apache and Apache_modules for suse 13.2.

Is this right ?

Should I have to wait for the new packages or I have to put te 13.1 repositories ?

Thanks in advance for your answer.
Regards,

Agunet

Hm?
13.2 comes with the newest Apache (2.4.10). And the Apache repo is available for 13.2 as well.

What exactly are you missing?

Should I have to wait for the new packages or I have to put te 13.1 repositories ?

Using repos for a different openSUSE version is probably not a good idea.
And it’s likely they don’t even work.

Where are those apache repositories, I don’t see it anyware.

Here’s the Apache repo for 13.2:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Apache/openSUSE_13.2/

But again, 13.2 does come with the latest Apache.

You still haven’t told what you are actually looking for.

What I’m looking for is some repositories for apache and apache_modules just in case there is an update.

Right, I understand that.
But which apache_modules?

I already gave you the URL for the Apache repo, but this doesn’t contain all modules.

And again, at the moment there is no newer Apache than the 2.4.10 included in 13.2.
When there’s a new version, it should be available in that repo.

OTOH, you’ll get important security fixes via the standard update repo anyway, even if the version number is not increased.

Ok Wolfi.

I understand now!

Thanks a lot for yours answers
