Adding repos to OpenSuSE 13.2

How does one add repos to OpenSuSE 13.2? I have never had problems in the past - each time I try to do so I get a dialogue complaining that there is no .repo file in the repository. Repos for older versions of OpenSuSE do have this file.

Thanks in advance

Most of them do have a .repo at top level, to whit:

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Office/openSUSE_13.2/

Just don’t drill down and add the machine architecture (eg. x86_64).

Hi,

I was not drilling down, it was just that many of the repos did not have the .repo files. I have given up on using the command line for this and use the YaST interface which works perfectly (zypper always fails here).

Thanks and Merry Christmas and a Happy New year

Hi
What zypper command were you using? I’ve nver had an issue adding 13.2 repos?

I use for example;

zypper ar -f http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Office/openSUSE_13.2/ "openSUSE_13.2:Office"

Adding repository 'openSUSE_13.2:Office' ........................................................................................[done]
