Adding a static ipv6 address to a dynamic ipv6 configuration

My ethernet port is configured dynamically for ipv6. And I want to keep that.

I also want to add a static ipv6 address to the port. On the command line that’s easy. Just issue the command:

ip addr add [ipv6-address/mask] dev eth0

And your done. But this doesn’t survive a reboot.
To make this persistent, I could of course add this to a boot script, but is there a way to add this to the system network configuration (through yast)?

You can edit the appropriate interface file directly in the following location, adding your address should be permanent

/etc/sysconfig/network/
