Acer X193HQ LCD Monitor-input not supported

Hello All,
I just purchased an LCD monitor and I have a problem I can not seem to find an answer too. I plug in the monitor and configured it exactly as in the manual and it boots. It shows the boot pae and OpenSUSE signon and then as the desktop comes up it goes to a black screen and says “input not supported”. Is there anyway I can configure this monitor or do I just need to take it back…LOL I WANT AN LCD:’(

Thanks for your help.
P.S. remember keep it simple I am not a programmer. Soemtimes I think SUSE is too much for me, …LOL I refuse to go back to windoze!

ok I have been told that this monitor is not compatible with OpenSUSE but I am waiting for your expert opinions

Hi,

Du musst unter Systemsteuerung/Anzeige/Einstellungen/Erweitert/Monitor deine Einstellungen ändern.Setze deine Bildschirmaktualisierungsrate auf 60 Hertz. Müsste dann funktionieren. P.S. Oben genanntes ist die Reihenfolge, wie Du da hingelangst.
