I Have received a ACER 7535 aspire laptop. it has an ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card it is running a AMD athlon 64 / 2 processor at 2.1 ghz it has 4 gig ram a 320 gig hdd. i would like to install SUSE on this is the graphics card easy to install with this system. i would like some advice before i make the change it has windows seven on it and i do not like it at all.
According to Wikipedia Graphics hardware and FOSS - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia the Novell radeonhd driver will provide the necessary support but I have not used it.
Great News, i have switched over to suse on this Acer 7535 laptop and everything is working fine. the webcam worked with cheese, ATI radeon driver installed and there are no flaws anywhere a great linux machine…
