when do you think that opensuse will have compatibility with this laptop? i bought it and found that mostly it has worked although the system gives me error messages throught the kde write daemon referring the cpu_shared or maybe the other way around. after this the system will not shutdown for either a long time or not at all and i need to do a hard shutoff. the wireless also hangs after this occurs. the acer aspire 4540 has the new AMD M880G chipset which i believe does not have the appropriate drivers for opensuse yet to use the hardware completely. i would like to continue to use opensuse because i like it alot, but for now i have to stay with win 7 i guess. please give me your input.
