Acer Aspire 8920 : Video at 1080p ?

Hey All;

Has anyone managed to get 1080p video on an Acer ?
( preferably using an NVidia chipset )

I’m trying to get 1080p video setup, and it’s failing … miserably.

If I run Sax2, when leaving/shutdown down the Sax2 , the video freezes.

Got 1080p up and running by manually editing the xorg.conf file.

Can anyone tell me what’s involved in setting up Sax2 for the Acer 8920 screen ?

Hello gpwashburn

I have install the latest nvidia devices. For that, please look at this side.
After that, I could change the resolution to 1920x1080 with sax2.
