Acer Aspire 4520 does not shutdown properly

When I shutdown my laptop, It never turns off automatically, I have to hold the power button for a few seconds, when I hit escape to remove the slash screen, there are no errors. after it says the system will be halted immediately it just stops and chills forever.

im using 11.1 with Kernel 2.6.27.23 x86_64

anyone have any ideas, It didnt have this problem when I had openSuse 10.3 installed. :\

Seen the problem on quite some systems, with openSUSE’s from 10.0 to 11.1
In Yast - System - sysconfig editor, there is some option (couldn’t find it right now) where you can set what the shutdown should do, halt system or power off. Hasn’t helped me all the time, but on some systems it did.
