acer_acpi on opensuse 11

hey folks,
i try to use the acer_acpi module on opensuse 11. i installed gcc and make, downloaded the module-source, extracted it, changed into the extracted directory and executed make. then nothing happens, no errors, no warnings… and i’m not thrown back to the shell, i have to abort with ctrl-c. btw, i’m on x86_64.
any ideas?

I’m not sure why you did this. I have a four year old Acer and ACPI simply works with OpenSUSE anyway.

some acer laptops need this module to enable the radio interface… your luck if this doesn’t affect you!

Try make -d V=1?

too late… switched back to 32bit so i can use acerhk.
