I’ve problem to access snmp devices through nat.
Some devices I can access others not …
All are the same devices…
What I see that I have problems it the device has logical interfaces and I want access with snmp to the logical interface…
Is this a problem of nat?
Hmmm - this has been unanswered for a while. So, I’ll toss some energy at it, and see what we can get.
NAT – who is assigning nat addresses? Your router? Who is doing the NAT may have some impact.

and both are probably an insult to your intelligence, but we need to get started somewhere, and I (personally) haven’t the faintest idea of what needs to be done to fix your situation. Since quite a few ppl have viewed this post, I’m going to guess they thought the same thing. Let’s get some more detail in this thing, and see if we can get somebody with better experience than myself on board.

So it’s seems a general “protocol problem” with NAT
BTW: It’s my own linux router (an embeded device) which does the nat translation…
And just found an patch for netfilter Netfilter Extensions HOWTO: New connection tracking patches
to use snmp with nat.
Will try this patch if I have time but I think it’s pretty complicated the netfilter stuff to integrate and compile the additionals …
