I would love to use OBS for my project. OpenNOP - Open Network Optimization Platform however when I try to visit the build portal or even use the “login” feature after entering my username/password I receive this.
OBS Web Interface Error:
Unauthorized Access
You need to log in to perform the operation.
Please contact the openSUSE admin to get an account.
Error Details:
Errorcode: 401
Message: Your user is not yet registered with iChain
So how do I create a new project and get access to start setting up where my source code is and how to build my packages?
I have this exact problem. I’ve discussed it on the mailing list, but no solution came up, for now.
The only certain thing is that iChain is no longer used in build.opensuse.org.
Is it the first time that you attempt to login to build.opensuse.org?
And from what country do you access to the build service?
I’m asking you these things because someone proposed that if the build service is distributed like Mirrorbrain the problem could be caused by mirrors not yet updated. I’m trying to access from Italy, if you try to login from another part of the world you are probably using another mirror, so we could exclude this as a cause of the problem.
This is the first time I use the build service, and I think to understand that this is your case too. I have tried to login with another new account and have no success. If you confirm that you don’t have used (as a registered user) build service in the past, the problem is likely to be with new users.
Ok, so it is likey to be a “new user” problem. New users that have this problem should post here, so the importance of this bug could be emphasized.
Now I’m only hoping that an admin will pass here and review the code regarding this problem.
