Sir many people have suggested me not to use opensuse because we cannot install vmware products on this OS so I requested help about this issue from you and then one of you provided a script which have not worked at all. After executing the script and after starting vmware workstation the X windows crashed.
After that I have experimented I mean performing post installation by examining vmware logfiles and finally I am able to run vmware workstation successfully.
Kindly try to fix the above issue in our upcoming release of opensuse13.1 so that many users like me may be benifeted a lot.

That’s a VMware issue - they need to provide the support for their
product on openSUSE.

If you’re reporting a bug, you need to enter it in bugzilla - asking here
isn’t going to get it noticed or addressed, because the development team
generally doesn’t read the forums. They deal with bugs entered in
bugzilla.

I don’t see how your question is related to the build service, wich is
the theme of this forum.
However, for your information, I and many other people use vmware
products on openSUSE, and also run openSUSE inside vmware.

Please remember that we are just users here. We are not SUSE.

This is strange. We run our ERP server as hosted solution on VMWare (openSUSE 12.3 guest on a whatever host). But we have a +server* installation w/o GUI.
