about 'modprobe' in opensuse 12.1

Hi,
I just compiled and install mplayer in opensuse 12.1 today. But it need to start the module “snd_pcm_oss” to play the movie. If i don’t do that, the mplayer plays movies without sounds.
Typing “modprobe snd_pcm_oss” in the terminal is too annoying. So I want the module ‘snd_pcm_oss’ start when system booting.I don’t know how to figure out this.Could anyone help me ? Thanks!

Why compile it just install via Yast or zypper. mplayer is a standard package available in the repos

In 11.4, Yast/system/sysconfig editor/kernel/modules_loaded_on_boot

Quite likely it will be the same in 12.1
