A thought.

Hi!

(13.1 openSUSE -64) I and many others at my home town had thunder-problems during s last weekend. My self is lucky to have spare parts at home. I notice:

ghost:~ # sghost:~ # systemctl restart bind
Failed to issue method call: Unit bind.service failed to load: No such file or directory.

ghost:~ # systemctl status bind
bind.service
Loaded: not-found (Reason: No such file or directory)
   Active: inactive (dead)

Still the DNS is working a-ok.

ghost:~ # systemctl status bind
bind.service
Loaded: not-found (Reason: No such file or directory)
   Active: inactive (dead)

ghost:~ # systemctl restart network
ghost:~ #

Well the DNS was working. Why restart all the network for a “bind”? Theirs has to bee some sick people wanting to do done that/implemented.
