Looks like in time we’ll all start leaving the IPv6 enabled:
Novell’s Open Source Server Meets Federal IP Standards
From what I understand, switching over to IPv6 will keep us from running out of IP addresses, and also make it so that we don’t need NAT translation anymore.

So, it’s about time they make the Novell servers IPv6 capable too (and
their DNS servers able to handle IPv6 requests of course).

IPv6 will keep us from running out of IP addresses
at least until we hit the 281,474,976,710,656 (minus a few) devices with a public IP mark. Maybe we need to colonize Mars first though…

We (where I work) run IPv6… we run BIND with v6 AAAA records
and it’s listening on v6. We are making sure our whole
product line (well most all of it) is v6 aware.
However, there are many other things that are v6 ignorant
(e.g. NFS/NIS… DHCP… though that’s really a different animal
in v6).
Never underestimate the propagatory nature of spambots, advertising sites and pr0n.
I would be much happier if opensuse OR SLED could cope with another Protocol Stack - In Australia there is an enormous market we currently offer no solution to in only providing an IP Protocol Stack.
All Federal Government- Health-Social Security- etc./All Banking Sectors/Most all Military Sectors/All State and Federal Law enforcement/Others (Thats a big Market Place)
need to support a 3270 type Terminal Emulator and directly address SNA or X.25 or STLC comms.
I wish opensuse/SLED could address more than one Protocol Stack and could directly address a comms server on the Network. Mind you there is a huge absence of very good 3270 Type software on the desktop as well.
I would love to see our ability to address another Protocol Stack well before IP V6
