A message keeps popping up?

Hi all,
Several weeks ago I installed openSUSE 13.1 and every couple of minutes I get this message
“Problem connecting to Empty destination in URI: hd:///?device=/dev/sdb1”,

I get the same message when I try a System Update.
Preceded by:
“There was a (possibly temporary) problem connecting to a software origins.
Please check the detailed error for further details.”

I installed the openSUSE (64bit) system from a USB Drive (the USB drive is no longer available, I lost it) on to an ASUS Laptop (W7 Series).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Just a guess.

Is it the device from which you installed openSUSE?
Check in YaST > Software > Repository Management if that device is in the list. When yes, uncheck the enable box.

  1. I suspect that it was,
  2. That has seemed to fix the problem.

Thanks a heap.
