a lot of troubles during inst. (FIRMWARE errors)

Dears,

I am getting crazy with my system.(I got the machine from previous guy working on it with XP, I installed myself linux, but with zero experience, 2 years ago).

starting point yesterday:
3 HDs in raid, SUSE 10.3 x64 installed on sdc1 with problems, XP on sda, SUSE 10.2 x32 on sda as well:

Disk /dev/sda: 250.8 GB, 250808893440 bytes

Disk /dev/sdc: 501.6 GB, 501628272640 bytes

/dev/sdc2 2612 60986 468897187+ 83 Linux

Goal: I need 64 bit for big calculation using >4Gb ram. Don’t care about prevoius installation, except /home in sdc2 which I want to keep, if possible.

Suse x64 on sdc1 started not to work properly some months ago (system hanging up after 5 min because it went into read-only filesystem - thread here, unsolved).
Problem left unsolved for months. NOw I have to solve it.

Attempted to repair via install-dvd, filesystem corrupted, no chance.
Tried to restore image of sdc1 before accident, successfull, but problem still there.

I decide to remove the 32 bit OS (XP and SUSE 32) on sda. FOrmat sda during installation.
Several WRONG DIGEST errors during installation. INstallation aborted (but sda and sdb formatted already)

reboot + installation media integrity check: failed
(error reading sector XXXXXX)

reboot + install-DVD SUSE 10.3 + installation media integrity check: also failed

Reboot + firmware check → 3 errors (see pic)

What to do now?
please help!
thanks in advance

Tried to install SUSE 11

sorry for previous link not working

*when I wrote “during installation” I mean of SUSE 11.2 x64. (burned ISO after downloading under vista, I know blame on me…)

Try setting memory hole remapping: Disabled in the BIOS

thanks, but I could not find this option in bios.
Anyway, the memory mapping problem was not critical.

I solved the installation problem burning a clean DVD (11.2) after checking md5sum. System seems to work stable now (using ext4).
