I’m trying to translate Opensuse in my language ( because all team members are inactive, I have to do it myself without any guides).
I’m not sure how to deal with multiline messages like this:
<p>this is a multiline message
this message is too long
so, we have to break it into smaller lines.</p>
so, if each line gets too short or too long, maybe that line does not fit correctly in the dialog boxes (am I correct?)
is there any guideline for how to translate multiline messages? (e.g. how many words should I put in each line to avoid visual problems?)
I think think you’re referring to Markdown with that "
" – Which is a popular alternative to HTML writing web page code.
Depending on what app you’re trying to translate, there may be an effort to translate already, there may already be an effort
