A couple of quick Amarok questions

Hey all,

When I start my machine, Amarok starts up and starts running a network scan.

How do I stop Amarok from doing automatic scans? I would to do it manually.

How I stop Amarok from starting up with my OS?

I think that Amarok might continuously looking for my Ipod, I don’t know for sure on this one.

Don’t really know my way around Amarok, but I finally did figure out how to connect my Ipod to it.

Thanks

Two parts to this answer. First, you can select which directories get
scanned (Amarok, settings, configure amarok, collection) so you could
de-select your network directories. Or, second, you could just de-select
scanning altogether by unchecking watch folders for changes.

Great, Thanks for the help.

Hey,

I forgot to ask,

How do I stop Amarok from loading during startup?

Thanks,

Heeter

is there anything in here: /.kde/Autostart

and check if it is here:

(Runlevel) > Expert

I looked in both, nothing there, so I just removed it all together.

Thanks, caf.
