exactly…they end up there asking their install-boot-login questions,
their wireless questions, their flash questions, etc etc etc etc
so, let me ask those who don’t yet “see the light”: the forums opening
page says the forum is for
“Questions specific to 64 -bit hardware”
my question: can you give me a few dozen examples of what those
questions might be like, please?

If the general consensus is the manufacturer’s hardware specs and not how the hardware is used, then I bow to the majority.
I do recommend though that Users prefix all questions whether they are running 32-bit or 64bit, it still seems to me to be the obvious question that would have to be asked every time.
Really you should tell people what you are running whenever you ask for help. There’s to many people out there using an older version of SUSE or KDE not to and expect someone to be able to help without all the information. And 32 or 64 bit is part of that. I know I’m guilty of not giving all the info people need sometimes, but I try to remember to do it every time.
