It’s that some people sign up as part of the community but don’t read as
far as the guiding principles.
openSUSE also has a “membership” (which is a subset of the community that
has actively contributed in some way), and you’ll find that 100% of those
people have agreed to the principles (IIRC, that agreement is a
requirement of membership).

some Linux using folks are, by nature, as difficult to herd as
cats…in those cases laziness plays no role…in my case i read it
until i got to the point were it obvious that it didn’t reflect
reality and then i decided not to support it…
parts of it is simply untrue…like, the part that says “We are
working together in an open, transparent and friendly manner”…
we are not working together…instead we are working VERY
not-together…
there is a huge divide between developers and the new users who come
to these fora for help…
if you wanna find unfriendly, just go to a place where the developers
hang out (that is NOT here in these fora–they almost universally
refuse to come here, for any reason) and … well, some of them, even
some employed full time by SUSE.de are certain that users should have
no voice and no say. period
