We haven’t started talking about religion, politics, the arms trade, or violent video games… yet.
I’m drinking strong coffee today and eating really good North American chocolate chip cookies. You can’t get these East coast cookies in Europe, Utah, or California. I’m good to go.
I bet Microchip has his all dressed up in a flak jacket and is ready to rumble in an L.A. suburb.
lol, incidentally I live only 1 kilometer away from one of the most prominent underground clubs in my city, called the Silo. By walking, it’ll only take me some minutes to get there
your in-laws must have no clue on which Belgian chocolate to buy or from where exactly to get it there’s a lot of ****e around found in El Cheapo stores
A poodle compared to a Chihuahua; it’s like comparing Ubuntu to Kubuntu. Both can go “Woof” and drop a load on a lawn just when you find yourself short of little plastic bags. I hate cleaning up after my mandatory Kubuntu system.
Go clubbing… forget the forums. The force is not strong with you.
lol, I’ve done more than enough clubbing during the days back. Also, I changed music genres some years ago and what they mostly play in the Silo, I no longer enjoy and it’s becoming too commercial and minimalistic for my taste
Also, my gf is not a big fan of clubbing and I usually won’t go without her

Settle down folks before threads get locked, people get warned, and all
general debauchery occurs from the forum staff.
lol, I don’t think so. We go out a lot but never to pubs. We usually go to (classy) restaurants, to the movies, to Ireland to see her parents, to the sea, etc. We’ve virtually dropped out of the clubbing scene as interests have shifted
Though it can be entertaining tossing darts at the Pub while listening to the Duke’s one liners: “D-A-M-N I look good!” It can always be worth a laugh at just the right moment.
yeah but here’s often the problem. Too crowded and lots of drunken idiots at the pubs around here. More than once they start El Fighto and other BS which we don’t need at all. We rather go to some quiet decent place than hang around in crowded little smoky pubs with jerks drinking beer as if their lives depended on it
also, when there no really good stuff to do, we spend our time at home on computers (she’s a real IM chatter) and watching movies and of course neither me nor her care much about what looks (or doesn’t) “civilized” in other people’s eyes. We do what we enjoy and have fun in as long as no questionable/problem borders are crossed over
Some crazy folk around these parts were organizing… out to the pub WoW raid nights with the notebooks. In some cases I can say that that type of thing can be a lot of fun.
Yeah but we’re not gamer geeks (nor computer ones in general for that matter) and couldn’t care less if a bunch of weirdo’s go on WoW raid nights or something else. There are many other things one could do which I’m sure will be as fun as or even more than those raid nights. We don’t live for computers, we live with computers as both our jobs require it. Me as sys admin, she works in a bank so we both need to know our stuff.
