openSUSE 11.1 64bit.
Indeed openSUSE 11.1 x86_64, with the addition that you will need the nvidia proprietary driver to get full 3D etc. Read about this at NVIDIA - openSUSE.
You might as well read some posts about dual booting Vista and openSUSE. It’s better to know how to handle possible issues before you start.

Like others said, I’d go for 64bit. Been using it for a few years now and everything works, including multimedia
