32-bit packages dropped from Tumbleweed?

  • libmodplug1-32bit is not available in Tumbleweed, but is available for Leap 15.6
  • libSDL2_mixer-2_0-0-32bit is not available in Tumbleweed nor Leap 15.6, but is present in Leap 15.5 repositories.
    The exclusion seems odd, since libSDL2-2_0-0-32bit and a couple of other 32-bit SDL2 packages remained in the repos. Is this an oversight or an intentional decision? It makes some old games unplayable.

@asdhio It only builds an x86_64 version on Tumbleweed, there is no config for a -32bit? The Games repo produces a i586 version, for Leap you would need to ask the backport Maintainers, but very likely intentional or maybe an oversight…

The Games repo does not have libSDL2_mixer-2_0-0-32bit nor libmodplug1-32bit.

@asdhio correct, but if there was a baselibs config it would build those 32bit lib packages (which are just copied files). Since it builds for i586, then it’s possible to produce the missing files. Assuming the maintainers wish too.
