I did and it works as before…
Now I saw, the onboard card has just one HDMI output and one VGA… bad.
Is it possible to split the HDMI output?
@ereissner Get an active (plug power into a USB port) VGA to HDMI adapter?
VGA to HDMI is loss of quality, right? It shall be active?
I always prefer passive because no additional power consumption.
but maybe I am missing detailed knowledge.
@ereissner AFAIK Active will give a better result.
I see, usb is acceptable… what about splitting HDMI? also possible?
Not that I’m aware of, but it seems laptop docks exist that could conceivably be up to the task of suiting your needs without having any dGPU installed or using the VGA port.
Does your PC’s motherboard have a USB-C output? Some USC-C ports are capable of providing video output from an APU, either directly, or through a connected port multiplier or dock.
No, it is kind of conservative. …
