2nd HDD won't mount after Upgrade to 11.1 and other errors

I have upgraded from 11.0 to 11.1 now the second hard disk won’t mount.

mount -t ext3 /dev/sdb1 /back

results “/dev/sdb1 already mounted or /back busy”

System repair produces a fstab error for the missing mount line.

It also throws package errors for cups, ntp, hal & postfix. If you accept the repair option it says it is installing the updated versions then repeats the error message.

The bootloader also throws an error but the suggested correction also results in an error.

I tried disconecting the second drive and installing from scratch but still can’t mount the drive. The reapair still gives the same package and bootloader errors.

Can you still boot directly without the cd?
If you can, try looking at your /etc/fstab.
