25 Things You Didn’t Know About Microsoft

Gee that was a waste of 5 minutes. I was looking for confirmation that Microsoft is named after a part of Bill, but I was disappointed. lol!

Wow that is very imoressive and is there down graderotfl!rotfl!rotfl!

I see it perpetuates the Q-DOS myth which was invented as a cover for what really happened. So I wonder how many of the other things are just spin.

It is interesting that Gates needs this continuous stroking; he can’t just be “smart,” no he is “as smart as Einstein!” So I guess that makes everyone else in the Free world stupider by comparison? It is not enough to be the richest, no he is also the smartest, but wait, that is not enough, no he thought of data mining Seattle traffic data before an anyone had ever thought of data mining as a concept. I guess he is even smarter than Dr. Goodnight, who owns SAS? I am certain he could have aced NC State and designed SAS in 1970, a full five years before Goodnight if he had been a southerner instead of a north westerner. And I guess Amdahl & Cray - they were just jokes, right? What the heck did they ever accomplish which was as important as Gates’ ideas? And those simpletons who designed Motif…gawd I could go on and on…

>…gawd I could go on and on…

and we will…

did you know that he was so smart that invented the software concept
of “embrace and extend”, where M$ embraces internet standards and then
“extends” their software to “enhance user experience”…

meanwhile, all non-Redmond software users see fonts that don’t align,
movies that don’t move, documents that can’t be opened, etc etc etc
