Is there any chance that the “200 line patch” will get rolled into 2.6.34.7-0.5-desktop or a future 2.6.34 kernel?
I don’t think so, as previous (default) kernel-versions are only patched with bugfixes, not with new features.
It looks like it’s available in the kernel head repo.
