13.2 Upgrade breaks Hibernate

This workstation was happy to hibernate with 12.1 → 13.1, … now it fails after upgrading to 13.2 last week:

That’s your problem, in the line that says “Secondary root hub is not
suspended”. I don’t know what it really means, but that’s the thing that
aborts the hibernation.

I would suggest to try updating the kernel… :-?

That could be the case - looks like there is something broken in the USB system for 13.2

You can report a regression in bugzilla.
And testing with a newer kernel might help.

Since years, hibernation and sleep are problematic topics.

Try this. Remove and prohibit installation of package suspend. Install package pm-utils. If you use the nvidia driver, add nomodeset to boot parameters. Reboot.
