13.2 openSUSE installation, 64bits Gnome version in VirtualBox: "Oh no! something has gone wrong."

Anyone has successfully installed the 64bits Gnome version in VirtualBox? The Gnome live session leads to “Oh no! something has gone wrong. A problem has occurred and the system can’t recover. Please log out and try again”. Same thing happens after installation. Host is Windows 8.1, 3D acceleration enabled.

This indicates a video driver problem usually

BTW 13.2 is still in beta and not released so please post problems with 13.2 to the beta thread

Ok. Should I report the bug or something?

Maybe but post to beta forum not here maybe some one has seen the problem.

We see that message in Gnome only when the video driver is not up to snuff. Remember you are using a VM so there is a virtual driver and so you may need to adjust things or add a driver for the vm. I don’t run a Windows host so I will refrain from swing at the problem in the dark

At this point I beleive that the problem is caused by you. ie not knowing how to configure things. So you should try to get confirmation that others see the problem before reporting. ie triage.

If you are sure it is just not something you missed you can report the problem on bugzilla

Please do not double post.
