13.2 kde live disk - does it include java?

Hi, Does anybody know if the KDE live DVD (32bit) is able to
run Java applications from after booting from the DVD without
any further installation (e.g. without network access)?

Many thanks!

By default openjdk 8 is installed.

Bear in mind that the Live DVD only contains the minimum to enable you to test that it can run on your hardware and that everything on it is nearly a year old. So you shouldn’t be relying on it for production use without doing a full online update.

Thank you Tsu and thank you John, too, good point!
