13.1 boots to console?

Walked away from my laptop for a while today (dell latitude d630) and came back to it sitting at a console screen. Restarted a few times and eventually loaded gnome. I restarted again and cannot get it to load gnome using gnome shell.

Using startx loads KDE however. All seems fine there.

I think something corrupted with gnome when it went to sleep. It’s gone about 36 hours since I actually restarted.

What logs can I post or configuration files?
13.1 64bit.

Somehow my default run level was changed to 3. Switched back to 5 and gnome came right back.

Probably you should lock your session or logout to protect your system from people (or gnomes) that use it when you are asleep ;).
