I’m running openSUSE 11.2 and I’m trying to modify the background of the bootloader, so far I’ve managed to replace the files inside the /boot/message-archive. But what i want to do is too have a background in gfxgrub which fits for my laptop without getting stretched, so I was wondering if there was a way to have a 1280x800 background? I played around with the archive but so far only changed the 800x600 back.jpg to other 800x600 pictrues, and it has only worked with images smaller than 20KB, I have found themes for gfxgrub on the net with larger resolutions and sizes but these does not fit my screen. Does anyone know the criteria for the background image in /boot/message?
It would be so nice to have a good looking background in the gfxgrub, without getting all stretched. Would somebody take a request to make and compile such a thing?
